Nowadays, there is a tremendous discussion about how the activities have to be done in the free time by individuals. Some people belive that activities should be planned. However, others disagree. Although, I believe that it is better if tasks are done using planning and in this essay I will explain why.
On one hand, when activities are planned the results are sgnificative better. In addition, some people believe that individuals should use a plan as a role model of strategy to archieve their goals because they are going to know what are the steps to archive their activitie. For instance, an article published by BBC NEWS revealed that 70% of the top leaders in the world recommend organization and planiation as the perfect strategy with the best results to complete a task or an activitie. In my opinion, it is undeniable that the most popular and important strategy knowed in this century is planning.
On the other hand, some people do not seen a benefit using planning to work in their activities. Furthermore, their argue is that in their free time, improvise is the best strategy to complete a task because they con improve their creativity and create new ways to make their activities done. To illustrate, a documentary sponsored by Cambridge university showed that improvising is the most common strategy used by employees to complete an activitie. However, this strategy is only works in particulars cases and not in every activitie.
To sum up, some people desagree with having a plan for success in an activitie. Others believe that planning their activities is the best strategy to archieve their goals. In my opinon it is better if individuals use planning to archieve their activites.

The bar graph reveals the yearly GDP growth which had done in three various countries within a time span of three years. According to the bar graph,in Tunisia, GDP growth initiated almost 6.2%,while it cut back slightly nearly from 4.5% in 2008 to approximately 3.2% in 2009.Again,it fell down by close to 0.2% at the end of the year. Moreover,GDP growth of Japan, started from insignificant minority and accounted two fold in next year.Additionally, swelled gradually about 5.2% in 2009 and leaped to 0.5% in last year. As per the bar graph,in Ecuador,GDP growth recorded little proportion at first year, whereas it swiftly doubled in following year.Furthermore,it plummeted drastically 1.2% in 2009 and slowly soared from 5% more than in 2009. To sum up,over the period of three years,GDP growth in Tunisia had been declining and in the Japan it had been climbing. Therefore,it is a paradoxical pattern.

    • IELTS MASTER says:

GDP growth which had done is wrong phrase because GDP growth is not activity which could be done it is just GDP growth that is it. Again initiated cannot be used with GDP growth. For decline do not use cut back, please use the phrases which we have described in our line graph and pie chart videos. Wrong use of word accounted because accounted means share or contribution but here GDP growth is for each country and not a share of anything. Same thing goes for word proportion. Soared from 5% more than in 2009 please check if data is correct in this sentence. ‘To sum up’ never use such phrases in task one because you cannot write conclusion in task 1

  3. Rinal kansara says:

Nowdays,in modern era, people have become a workaholic since whenever they get free time from their monotonous schedule they do plenty of activities. While some individuals believe that it is absolutely necessary to make a plan about activity prior to do it,other deny for planning.I personally disagree with the notion, to prepare a plan of activity. I will discuss both views along with my arguments about the corrective measures that can be taken. To commence with, there are myriad drawbacks in this view. The first one is when individuals make a plan they holistically aware of activity and prepare all prerequisites.Consequently, they save money , quality time and do not face scourges to enjoy it.Another point worth noting is,in 2015,in the survey of five hotels of Goa,every multifarious people book the summer holidays package when they offer 50% discount and save money.
On the contrary, making a planning is not certainly essential because it vouchsafes abundant opportunities to people to enhance cognitive skills and many more. Moreover, they do whatever according to their desire as well as they can change their plan.Since circumsentenses can change in each and every second, they suffer from grief when they change their plan.Another point worth noting is,in the survey of 2017,according to the statement s of employees,it has found that, the main reason for the divorce between couple is their holidays and movies planning due to office work which sometimes they do not enjoy. To recapitulate, weighing up the both sides of the view, although time is money, without planning individuals do not get loss and it does not impair their feelings. Thus, pros are outweigh than cons.

    • IELTS MASTER says:

Introduction is a bit better but still needs improvement. Watch that video again and try to follow the exact pattern. You cannot take corrective measures here it is not a problem we are discussing here. ‘they holistically’ it should be ‘they are holistically’. Every multifarious people is a wrong phrase. It should be when they are offered not whey they offer. Making a planning it should be making a plan. Circumstances spelling wrong. Employees it has been found not it has found. In the last line are should not be used. You should present your opinion first that is in the first paragraph and the other view in second paragraph.

Can i write in place of had done—had recorded? In place of initiated—–noted? And in place of sum up—– overall?and is it correct it is paradoxical pattern? And plz would u tell me where I can use initiated. Is it correct that, Tunisia initiated or only can i write it initiated?plz tell me I m confuse so Iwill not repeat again this type of exam.and also give me bands.i request u

    • IELTS MASTER says:

No you cannot use these phrases with GDP because GDP is a numerical figure so it cannot had have. Initiate means to start something so it should be used when a process is started. Again GDP is not a process so it cannot be initiated. Avoid using paradoxical pattern because it is a complicated phrase and you might use it in the wrong sense. In this task you would 1.5 bands out of 3.

  5. RINAL KANSARA says:

would u plz tell me in task 2 my conclusion is ok?i have written to recapitulate and although is it ok?

    • IELTS MASTER says:

Yes it is fine to start with ‘To recapitulate’ but make sure you use the although very carefully because it changes the meaning of the sentence altogether.

The right utilisation of one’s spare time is essential in this every- second changing world. A group of individuals opine thay preparing a strategy in krder to take full advantage of leisure time is essential while others are in variance. This essay will discuss both views and provide an opinion for the same.

On one hand, formulation of a proper plan to spend the extra time provides a direction to an individual to work upon. In today’s fast moving era, accomplishment of desires and hobbies has become an ardous task. People hardly find time to achieve their dreama, besides their professional work. Whatever spare time they get, if planned correctly can be of great help to them. As a result, an individual can free himself from the shackles of work life temporarily. Furthermore, any type of dilemna about what to do is taken care off. This ultimately rejuvenates the mind. For instance, planning a weekend trip with family ameliorate the bond and internal happiness is gained.

On the other hand, not preparing a strategy to utlilise leisure time can give rise to unexpected thrills. This further provides a room to be more crearive and explore instant adventures. Sometimes, proper execution of a plan is hindered by the ever-changing circumstances. As a consequence of which, frustration arises. Therefore, not thinking about how to spend the spare time sometimes lead to exploration of unique hobbies as well. An individual rather than taking a planned course of actions can have some experimental activities.

To conclude, i would reckon that utilizing leisure time in a fruitful manner is dependant on an individual’s thought process. However, planning of the time should be flexible enough so aa to accomodate unexpected situations which may arise.

    • IELTS MASTER says:

Instead of every-second write dynamic world. Try to incorporate good vocabulary for such simple words it will get you more bands. Spelling of thay is wrong. The second line structure is wrong with couple of spelling mistakes. Not provide an opinion, write provide my opinion because task is asking for your opinion. Dreama? Dilemna? A lot of spelling mistakes not good. Reckon is informal word. Your end of introduction is not proper you must give your opinion in brief. Please watch our video on how to attempt task 2 and then attempt again it will help you to make a lot of improvements in your attempt.

The given chart illustrates annual percentage increased in GDP for Tunisia, Japan and Ecuador from 2007 to 2010.
Overall, it can be noticed from the chart that both Tunisia and Japan showed an opposite trend with the former and latter having a decreasing and increasing direction respectively, while Ecuador had an unstable trend over the period.

At the beginning of the period, Tunisia had a higher GDP being above 6%, followed by Ecuador having around 3% and Japan being the least with 2% in 2007, however in 2008, Tunisia declined to about 4.5%, with Ecuador overtaking Tunisia to almost 5%, and Japan surged more than doubled to slightly above 4% but still remained the lowest.

Both Tunisia and Japan continued their trend with the latter becoming the highest in GDP for the year 2009, being above 5%,and the former also decreasing to around 3%, whereas Ecuador declined drastically to below 2%, being the least. At the end of the period, all the 3 countries remained at their respective positions with Japan increasing further to about 6.5%, Tunisia also decreased slightly to exactly 3%, and Ecuador doubled to above 2% but stilled was the least in 2010.

  8. Haruna says:

There is a view that nonworking period routines of individuals should be prepared but some are not in favour of this view. I personally opines with this idea and this essay will examine both views in detail.

First of all, I will look at my side of the opinion, and there is a saying that “time is money” which means that every second, minute or hour in our daily life is very crucial. To elaborate further, we are all aware that to be able to achieve our goals and objectives, one need to use his/her time including free time wisely, which we can all attest to it that most successful people in our society are those who managed their time very well. Another important point is that there is a clear evidenced that most productive persons in our various institutions and organizations are the ones who planned themselves including leisure time judiciously. For example, a related research which was conducted by the business school of the University of Ghana in last year November, concerning how people spent their off duty activities and its impact on their work output, and it was revealed that those who were able to know the period to have fun or play games, take a trip or rest were noticed to be more productive than the ones who did not prepared for their off duty activities.

On the other hand, some people believed that spare time activities are mostly done to help relieve stress as a result of heavy work load and to refresh ourselves for the impending duty activities hence free time routines should not be strictly planned but can take any form depending on the person’s mood at that given period.

In conclusion, based on the above arguments I believe that spare time activities should be planned bearing in mind its usefulness in refreshing one for the next working activities.

    • IELTS MASTER says:

I opine not opines. Rather than writing I will look my side write Firstly I will articulate my perspective on this matter. Clear evidence not evidenced. Who plan not planned. In November last year not in the last year November. Did not prepare not prepared. Some people believe not believe. Same mistake repeated many times wrong use of second form of verbs, try to work on this.

The bar graph reveals the percentage of annual GDP growth of three countries namely Tunisia,Japan and Ecuador within a time span of 3years.

Overall, the figure of yearly GDP growth of Tunisia followed downward direction, whereas the figure of Japan witnessed upward trend. Also, the ratio of Ecuador of yearly GDP growth went through fluctuations over the period of 3years.

According to the graph,in Tunisia, the ratio of yearly GDP growth dominated nearly 6.4% in 2007 ,while it declined smoothly approximately 3.2% in the year of 2009.Again,it fell down about 3% in 2010.Furthermore,the figure of yearly GDP growth in Ecuador,it stood at around 3.2% in 2007.Subsequently, it dramatically went down North roughly 4.9% in 2008 and then it reduced and hit the law point almost 1.3% in 2009.Afterwards, the percentage swelled near about 2.4% in 2010.

As per the graph,Japan had lowest percentage annual GDP growth in 2007 but it was more than twice close to 4.2% in the next year. After that, ratio of annual GDP growth gradually soared approximately 5.4% in 2009 and then it inclined and reached its zenith nearly 6.5% in 2010.

    • IELTS MASTER says:

‘over the period of 3 years’ the data is for 4 years not 3 years. You cannot use ratio here because ratio generally means share of something but here we are talking about GDP growth which is in percentage but is not a part of something it is a standalone %. ‘went down North’ firstly went down North is wrong because North is always associated with increase not decrease, secondly avoid using North and South with increase and decrease because some examiners might consider it informal way of writing.

  10. Rinal kansara says:

It is irrefutable that time is a precious commodity.Since people get boared from their hectic schedule, they perform several activities to become relax. While some individuals advocate that activities should be managed well, others deny this notion. But I support the former notion and in the following section both views will be discussed.

To commence with, time is much more important than money.Hence, people should utilize it properly by making plan of their activities because planning saves money and time. Furthermore, workaholic people book long holiday package before several months when they make plan of family holiday and they get discount in reservation as well as they get booking in desire class.Secondly,it gives pleasure to individuals when they perform task according to their wish. Moreover, individuals understand the actual value of time and they learn lots of things. To illustrate, every year tremendous number of school pupils join computer classes during vacation period which certainly impart them knowledge of technology and broaden the horizon.

On the contrary, without managing activity time , people can do whatever they like.Additionally, there is no restriction to perform only that task what they had thought before and they spend their leisure time as per the circumstances. To illustrate,in 2019,in the world cup match of India vs Newzealand, plenty of people had purchased air ticket of England to enjoy live world Cup match but due to heavy rain it was cancelled and it hurt the sentiments of Indian people.

To recapitulate, although after making plan it is compulsory for individuals to complete the task, planning makes event successfully and people can fully enjoy their happiest moment.

    • IELTS MASTER says:

‘boared’ wrong spelling. ‘activities to become relax’ activities to relax not become relax. ‘broaden the horizon’ broaden their horizon or better to write and hone their skills which lay the foundation of a bright future. ‘Newzealand’ New Zealand. ‘air ticket of England’ air ticket to England. Overall it is a decent attempt.

The chart illustrates the annual GDP growth for the countries Tunisia,Japan and Ecuador from the year 2007 to 2010.
Overall,we can observe a gradual increase in GDP growth in the consecutive years mentioned for the country Japan, while Tunisia had seen a moderate decrease in annual GDP growth. However the country Ecuador had a different trend.
In the year 2007 Tunisia had the highest GDP growth around 6% and Japan constituted 2% growth which was the lowest compared to other two countries. The 3 countries contributed annual GDP growth above 4% but less than 5% in the year 2008.Japan showed highest GDP growth per year in the years 2009 and 2010 which was above 5%.
Ecuador showed unusual trend between 2007 and 2010.Japan had a increase of approximately 1 percentage point from 2008 to 2010.Furthermore it had a 2 percentage points increase from 2007 to 2008.Tunisia showed decrease of nearly one and half percentage point in GDP growth every year during the period 2007 to 2010.
Can you please evaluate my answer.

    • IELTS MASTER says:

‘for the country Japan’ for Japan, country is redundant here. In terms of GDP 3% decline is never moderate hence should not used with Tunisia. ‘GDP growth’ its actually GDP growth rate. ‘Japan constituted 2% growth’ wrong way to write because constituted means to make part or contribute to something but here we are talking about individual GDP growth rates. Same mistake with the word contributed. Rather than writing unusual trend for Ecuador write erratic trend.

  12. Preetham says:

In order to survive in this competitive world people work very hard to achieve success. In this process they go through a lot of stress and the activities they do in their free time helps them to come out of it.Planning those activities in advance can be beneficial sometimes and may not seem appropriate in certain situations.I will discuss both the views in the following paragraphs.
It depends upon the individual the type of activity he or she prefers to do in their leisure time. There are certain circumstances where activities cannot be planned for instance generally college students do not intend to plan their activities in their free time but come up with sudden plans. These plans will be remembered for a long time as they are associated with lot of memories.Usually in their hectic schedules people often forget the available free time in the near future and do not make any plans. When the time comes they come with the plans what they feel at that moment and proceed with it.
There are certain times where the persons activities can be planned. If they know their free time well in advance it is always suggested to plan beforehand.Proper planning would reduce the amount of money to be spent and will save time.Mainly airlines provides tickets at very low cost if we book it well in advance.Hence planning saves a lot of trouble if one is going on trips or plan to have a surprise party.
To summarize i believe planning is a good habit and one should make a habit of it but in every aspect it will not work and making sudden plans sometimes will also have a good impact.
    can you evaluate my answer.

    • IELTS MASTER says:

You should have mentioned which side you favour in the introduction because statements asks your opinion as well. Accordingly next paragraph should be on the side you favour this makes it clear for the examiner the structure you are following in the essay. Overall a good attempt with no grammatical mistakes. This essay will get you 3.5-4 bands out of 6.

  13. Bonnie says:

The bar chart provides information about the change in yearly GDP development for 3 various countries from 2007 to 2010.

Overall, the growth rate of Tunisia follows a linear pattern in the downward direction, while Japan’s rate presents complete opposite trend, and Ecuador represents a up and down trend.

According to the bar graph, in 2007, the growth rate of Tunisia was the highest at more than 6%, whilst that of Japan was the lowest with 2%. After a year, Tunisia’s growth rate went down to around 4.5% and there was a decrease in Tunisia’s growth rate by almost 1.5 percentage points until 2010. Meantime, in 2008, there was a significant rise in Japan’s growth rate by more than twice, and Japan’s growth rate steadily went up by 2010 and reached to more than 6% which was the highest rate in this graph.

On the other hand, growth rate of Ecuador was around 3% in 2007 and rose to approximately 5% in 2008. But, after 1 year, there was a substantial fall in Ecuador’s growth rate by almost 5 percentage points, and in 2010 there was an increase by around twice.

    • IELTS MASTER says:

‘for 3 various’ 3 countries not 3 various countries, 3 is a fixed number while various is used for to give unfixed number. ‘Tunisia follows a linear pattern’ follows is present tense but data is of past. ‘represents a up and down’ an up and down. ‘Meantime’ meanwhile not meantime. You have not used the word GDP instead you have written growth rate of country but it is actually GDP growth rate not country’s growth rate. ‘fall in Ecuador’s growth rate by almost 5 percentage points’ fall of 5 percentage points is wrong calculation.

  14. Aisha says:

There is no doubt that in the 21 century there are contrasting viewpoints on how a person should spend their free time. Some people claim that thoughtful planning is important and have to become a matter of habit, while others disagree with this statement. This essay will consider the validity of both sides and provide my own opinion on this topic.
First of all, it is important to identify the reasons why some people find planning leisure activities necessary. Nowadays people tend to spend most of their time working and have less free time, which is why people value it and do not want to waste it on procrastination or something irrelevant. Time management and proper planning can make achieving goals easier and faster; thereby significantly improve the quality of life. By scheduling time person can avoid time-consuming things and invest saved time for their own development or entertainment. Moreover, time planning can even help save money, as there will not be rash purchases.
On the other hand, other people believe that free time should be spent according to the circumstances without planning. The fact that life is unpredictable and it can change rapidly should not be forgotten, the plans can be spoiled in a matter of seconds and in this situation person have to adjust and act creatively. And last but not least, the happiest and the most crucial moments in our life happen without planning and consideration.
Taking into account the above points, I would like to say that time management is important for spending leisure activities more efficient; however person should not be dependent on it and should act according to the situation.
